Class Details
Feisty Fido – Core is an indoor reactive dog training program in SW Calgary, designed for dogs with mild to moderate reactivity (within 8 leash lengths) towards dogs, people, or environmental triggers. If your dog’s lunging, barking, or growling is turning everyday situations like walks, vet visits, or having visitors over into rugged terrain with twists, turns, and obstacles, Feisty Fido – Core is for you. For more extreme roads, please consider Feisty Fido – Breakthrough.
Your 4-hour (4x1 hour or 2x2 hour) journey begins with an exploration of your dog’s reactivity through their eyes. You’ll work as a team alongside your dog to help them regulate their emotions, build coping strategies, and develop more confidence.

Feisty Fido – Core is designed for dog owners whose dogs experience mild to moderate reactivity (within 8 leash lengths) towards dogs, people, or other environmental triggers. This class is perfect if:
Your dog barks, growls, lunges, or gets very excited when they are within 8 leash lengths (48 feet) of other dogs or people.
Your dog’s reactive behaviour creates challenges in daily life but can be managed by crossing the road, changing direction, or hiding behind a car or other environmental barriers.
Your dog does not bite or nip.
If your dog’s reactivity is more severe (such as aggressive or highly territorial behavior), Feisty Fido – Breakthrough may be a better fit.

For puppies and adult dogs 5 months and older.

Classes are held indoors at the North Glenmore Park Community Association:

To attend classes, dogs must have up to date vaccinations or titres.

$269 + GST for the 4-hour program (2 x 2-hour or 4 × 1 hour classes)

Please note that all registrations are final. We are unable to offer make-up classes, pro-rate tuition for missed sessions, or accommodate class swaps. Thank you for your understanding.
