Our therapy dog training classes in Calgary offer unparalleled training and instruction. Whether you want to certify your dog as a therapy or service dog, or you’re a practitioner interested in Animal Assisted Therapy, our program will help you get there!
Cat leads our program, bringing extensive knowledge, expertise, and passion to therapy dog and service dog training. Since 2013, she has actively engaged in the therapy dog and service dog communities in Alberta. Cat assesses for two of Calgary’s four therapy dog organizations and previously headed the puppy program in Calgary for one of Alberta’s leading service dog organizations.
Our program aims to deepen the human-canine bond and help dogs and their owners reach their full working potential. Moreover, we apply a “whole team” (dog and owner) approach to training, incorporating cutting-edge, research-driven methodologies. These methodologies seamlessly integrate biology, sensory-motor development, emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, individual traits, attachment, resilience, and communication into the learning process.

Therapy Dog Training Program Structure
Our therapy dog training in Calgary is structured into four levels. Classes are held inside at the North Glenmore Park Community Association unless otherwise noted.
