Beyond Boundaries | Outdoor Dog Training in SW Calgary

Program Overview:

Beyond Boundaries is a seasonal, outdoor dog training adventure based in SW Calgary—designed for dogs and humans who are ready to take their teamwork to the next level. If you’ve completed a course like Therapy Tails Level 1, Adolescent Ascent, Walk Wise, or Puppy Potential, and want a new challenge, this is your next step.

In this 9-hour journey (6 × 1.5-hour classes), we’ll be your tour guides through some of our favorite hidden-gem trails, parks, and urban spaces around SW Calgary. This program is all about refining your dog’s real-world skills, building trust and communication, and stepping outside your comfort zone—together.

You’ll fine-tune foundational obedience and manners, build advanced skills like whistle recall, explore safety and etiquette in public spaces, and learn how to keep walks engaging through play, games, and challenges. Expect plenty of nerdy nuance, real-time coaching, and a whole lot of tail wags.

Whether you’re prepping for more off-leash adventures, building toward therapy or sport work, or just want your dog to thrive in real-world settings, this program gives you the practical tools, expert coaching, and real-life experience to make it happen.

Who Can Attend:

Dogs 6 months and older who have completed at least one of the following:

Puppy Potential, Adolescent Ascent, Walk Wise, or Therapy Tails Level 1.

Price & Duration:

• Price: $299 + GST

• Duration: 6 weeks (6 × 1.5-hour outdoor sessions)

Location:

Classes are held outdoors at a variety of trails, parks, and public spaces in SW Calgary—all within 15 km of the city centre. Locations and instructions will be provided upon registration.

Vaccinations:

Dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (or have current titres) to attend.
